Personally I only like Bigfork and visiting Glacier - the rest of the state is pretty much lacking. Montana is an incredible place to pending upon which town you choose. No place is perfect and no place has everything a person may need or want.
I've basically lived in every section of the US and have also visited the other places I haven't seen.
